A big thank you to our Sunday School teachers this year :
Gia Cantwell (Pre-K – grade 1), Liz Arehart (grades 2-3),
Sarah Philion (grades4-6), Nichole Newbold (grades 7-8),
Jackie Howard (High School) and Susie Little (Youth Group)
We would also like to thank Bea Mooney and Linda Malcolm who have worked with the Rainbow Ringers, Chapel Bells and Chapel Choirs throughout the year. Thank you to all of you who have helped us out by teaching our class when we were unable and to those who helped in the nursery. It is very much appreciated.
Bibles were presented to the children who attend Sunday School and who have completed 2nd grade. Those
who received a Bible this year are Molly Arehart, Anna Arehart, Adriana Merino, Ave Sprague, Isabella Cecee, and Sophia Wakin.
CONGRATULATIONS AND GODSPEED TO OUR GRADUATES. College Graduates –
Caitlyn Burr (Master's Degree), Megan Cantwell, Jamie Mills, Emily Schmitt, Patty Rall, Christy Tyrrell and Colin Eustis. High School Graduates - Katie Anderson, Kyrra Howard, Samantha Howard, Allison Maxwell and Krista Burgin. Your Christian upbringing has equipped you to apply your faith in your daily life. With your faith in your heart, you are ready for whatever you may encounter. Walk humbly the path toward your future, always remembering God is with you, and using God’s Word as a light to your path and a lamp to your feet. We ask the congregation to keep these special young adults in their prayers as they journey into God’s future for them.

Sunday
School
Sunday School celebrated the 2010-11 year on June 5th during worship by presenting a program
entitled "Reporting Live". The Congregation was also treated
to songs sung by the Sunday School Children, Chapel Choir and played by
the Rainbow Bells. Our graduates and Sunday School teachers were
recognized and the second graders were presented Bibles.
Sunday School will break for the summer and start
again on September 11th. Watch the church life, this website and the
Courier for more information and don't forget to join the fun at
Vacation Bible School July 24 - July 28!
Adult
Education

An
Adult Sunday School Class is a part of our Sunday morning Christian
Education schedule. This class is taking a break for the summer right
now but watch for start up information in the fall!
The Men's
Breakfast and Bible Study group continues to meet each Wednesday
morning at 6:30 a.m. throughout the summer. (See below)
Senior Youth
Group
The
Senior Youth Group offers
opportunities for spiritual growth and social interaction for youth
grades 7 through 12. The group meets the first and third Sunday of each month for planning,
a program or mission activity and sometimes just
a fun event or outing. Every year, usually in the summer, the Senior
Youth Group takes part in a week-long work project as volunteers in
mission. See the Youth Group Page or contact Susie Little for more
information.
Child Care Coverage
Each Sunday morning during
worship Child Care is provided during the worship service. The child-care
room is located in the CE wing of the building. Children under age
eight are welcome in the child-care room. Please contact an usher
if you would like help getting to the child-care room on Sunday morning.
If you would like to volunteer to help watch children during the worship
hour, please sign up on the sheet outside the nursery or contact Gia
Cantwell at 746-3611.
Weekly
Men's Breakfast And Bible Study
The Wednesday morning Men’s Breakfast and Bible Study Group continues
to meet every Wednesday morning at 6:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.
The time begins with a hot breakfast together and finishes with about
30 minutes of Bible Study, concluding at about 7:30 a.m. We read the
Scripture together and then share our insights about how God is speaking
to us and to our time through these ancient texts. We all enjoy being
together! It would be even better if you joined with us!
All men of the church and community are welcome to attend
this group. You may join at anytime!
